We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal mobile device

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to access the App
• Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App to third parties

While Socrates AI does not require account creation, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device
• All activities that occur through your device
• Ensuring your use complies with these Terms

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App in a manner that:

• Does not interfere with the App's operation
• Does not transmit harmful code or malware

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The App, including its original content, features, functionality, source code, and design, is owned by Kregg's Code and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4.2 Content Attribution

• Socrates' Quotes: Historical quotes are in the public domain
• Plato's Dialogues: Ancient texts are in the public domain
• App Design & Code: Proprietary to Kregg's Code
• AI Responses: Generated content subject to AI provider terms

4.3 Trademarks

"Socrates AI," the app logo, and related marks are trademarks of Kregg's Code. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

5. AI Chat Feature

5.1 AI Disclaimer

The AI chat feature is powered by Google Gemini AI and:

• Provides responses for educational and entertainment purposes
• May not always be accurate or complete
• Should not be relied upon for professional advice
• Is subject to Google's terms of service

5.2 No Professional Advice

The App does not provide:

• Medical, legal, financial, or professional advice
• Therapy or counseling services
• Academic or educational certification

Always consult qualified professionals for specific advice.

6. Content and Services

6.1 Content Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that:

• All content is error-free or complete
• Historical attributions are 100% accurate
• Translations are perfect
• AI responses are always correct

6.2 Content Updates

We reserve the right to:

• Add, modify, or remove content at any time
• Update the App with new features or improvements
• Discontinue features without prior notice

7. Privacy and Data

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KREGG'S CODE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
• Any errors or omissions in the App's content

9.3 Maximum Liability

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the past 12 months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kregg's Code and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

11.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your access to the App
• Remove or disable features
• Discontinue the App entirely

We may do so without prior notice if you violate these Terms.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App immediately ends
• You must uninstall the App from all devices
• Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination

12. Updates and Modifications

12.1 App Updates

We may release updates to:

• Fix bugs and improve performance

• Comply with legal requirements

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

15.5 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
